Buy a journal and pour your heart out, so that you'll have something to work with after a period of time.
Go to school, learn writing. Or...
Get books on writing at your library or at Amazon.com, and read them, do the exercises.
Writre every day, something, anything.
And, yes, as was suggested, start writing your book now, preferrably on a computer, so that you can edit it. Backup what you write in at least 2 places, so that you don't, after all that work, lose it. Your writing at this present time doesn't have to be consecutive or well-organzied, or even particularly good. Just get your ideas down so that you can work on them and add to them. If you don 't get them down, you'll just be hoping to write...someday!
To be a writer and a good one, you must develop skills, knowledge, wisdom, and style, your unique style; and there's only one way to do that: Write!
And, one more thing, write from your heart--not what you think people want to read or what you think might sell--write what you feel, what you think. Make it yours, so that it contributes the uniqueness that is you to humanity.

express your feelings over a suspensful amount of time. If you need thinking space...use lots of details. Describe the little things like the color of your dressor, etc.
