Has anyone ever heard a squirrel making noises like a guinea pig but instead of long high pitched noises, it's short, fast high pitches noises? I saw a group of them in my backyard fighting making that noise that i've never heard before.

Hello! Yes and if you purse your lips together like your going to whistle but you squeak instead you can call them to you ( I do it all the time to feed them), but be very careful as they might carry rabies. It's the way they communicate with other squirrles. Merry Christmas!

yes i have heard it in my back yard also they are making out with each other.
