They seem to really be playing well and they have a lot of depth! They are very strong inside and Alando Tucker and Brian Butch are almost impossible to match up with man to man. . .. Tucker because he is so athletic and Butch because he is freakishly talented outside for a 7 footer. Their young players are also growing up quite rapidly and it goes without saying they have one of the best coaches in the game. Their two games with Greg Oden and Ohio State should be awesome as Ohio State is very talented and Gred Oden's limited performance with a broken hand has been nothing short of amazing!!!

THE BADGERS ARE NOT READY YET.

I think as soon as Big 10 starts Wisconsin is going to be one of the dominating teams in that conference. They have some youngs guys that will make it into the March Madness. If they dont win the National Championship then they will come real close.
Talks about Greg Oden and Ohio State, well the way I can see it is that Ohio State was doing good without him. For as I am concern he is just like another 7 footer player who stands around the basket while playing offense and defense because that is the only thing that they are good for. Wisconsin will go farther than Ohio State will.

I disagree with Berlinth--- the Wisconsin big men do not suck. It is all part of Bo Ryan's system. He plays an aggressive swing system that concentrates on precise and precision, not grind it in the paint that traditional big men in the middle are expected to do. Watching Brain Butch drain 3's and torture Pitt was incredible.
Here is what the Badgers need to do to win it all
1) Brian Butch has to blow up like he did against Pitt. Any 6'10 center than can kill inside AND outside is extraordinary.
2) Tucker needs to keep pace. He showed the nation is one of the best and he has to keep it up. Tucker is the glue molding Wisconsin into an elite team.
3) The Badgers need to stay healthy. Enough said.
4) Free throws need to be made! One of the few weakenesses of Wisconsin is free throw shooting. In a tight game that makes the difference
5) Stay focused. The National Ranking of 4/5 and the exposure and (FINALLY) respect of the nation can't over take this team. It is still really early in the year. It is not how you start but how you finish in March.

Here's to Bo Ryan - what a great coach. We are so lucky to have him.

GO BADGERS!

For sure and here's why. Alando Tucker is always good for 20+ points. KT can shoot the three like I have never seen before. He is starting to remind me of my favorite all time Badger player Devin Harris. Michael Flowers is the best defensive player I have ever seen. He is the x-factor on the team. Jason Chappel can knock down a shot every once in a while and get to the free throw line. Finally, Brian Butch as proven against Pittsburgh he can shoot the 3 extremely accurately for a big man. These are just the starters for Wisconsin. The list continues to grow as we add Mr. Intangible, Joe Krabbenhoft. Then we have the three point shoot freshman Jason Bohanon. The freshman point guard Trevon Hughes, my cousin. Next is Greg Stiesma the best shot blocker ever, I will admit though his offense is pretty bad. Finally we have the most athletic guy on the team Marcus Landry. These ten guys will all be on the court at anytime. Wisconsin has the best depth I have ever seen. They also have one of the toughest defenses I have ever seen. Bo Ryan will make sure that these guys will work as hard as they can. Watch out for this team come march.

Well, Wisconsin certainly picked a good year to make a run for it. This year, no team looks is invincible, which hasn't been the case lately it seems.

March is a long ways away, and any team that is hot right now is bound to cool off and suffer a defeat or two before the NCAA tournament begins. The key to success will be to recapture how well they are playing right now, come tourney time.

Their big men are plenty strong enough. Did you see the Pitt game? They man handled the #2 team in the country. Their depth on the block (Stiemsma, Krabbenhoft, and Chappel) gets the job done on D. Throw in Taylor (streaky, but when he's on he'll shoot the lights out), Butch, and Flowers and they'll score plenty of points if they need to. They are a legitimate contender just as much as anyone else in the country.

im a wisconsin fan and definetly because right now their great point guard, kammron taylor, isn't getting the hype that butch and tucker are getting, I know that butch had a great game but he was averaging 9 pts per game before that, if they get talyor going , and keep up butch and tucker, they have a great shot at making a run for the championship

No, I'll tell you why. I live in Wisconsin and we love our sports teams, but. There big guys suck they sit at the perimiter and dont do anything around the basketball and cant play D. Tucker is amazing and thats all they got. Butch wont help without scoring in the paint.
