well, on ur local library website they have an e-books section. Where u can get an account for free and read a number of books online

Well if you like sci-fi or fantasy you can go to Baen's Books and sign in on their site. Once you get confirmation of your signin rights you can go to the chat room, the Bar and chat with other people and pose questions with them and even with some authors who frequent this site. You can also go to the e-book site where you can not only read e-books for free but download them for free too. Have fun!
