There is one product that really works. I have tried the others that you can buy just anywhere. I buy Nailtiques. It is not sold just anywhere. I use formula 2. You can call this toll free number to
find out where in your area you can buy it. Or you can order it from this number. It is the best there is. 800-272-0054
Or here is the mailing address
Nailtiques

My nails used to be paper thin and split all the time.
They are beautiful now. No I don't get a rebate!!
It is just a product that really works.

You could try the OPI Nail Envy Original but its a pretty long process and you have to do it faithfully. Nail Tek is a pretty good product, works very quickly but if used to long and too much may cause your nails to dry out and crack. But I would use the Nail Tek now and get them to the shape you want. You also wanna use a good nail conditioner as well as a hardener. Creative Nail Design's Solar Oil is great for that. It gives your nails the moisture and protein they need. Give it a try. There is nothing to lose!

Your nails need to be short. If they are even slightly long, they will cut them down before they glue on the nail tip. The only thing I've found with getting acrylic is that it ruins your natural nail because they have to rough it up to give the acrylic something to stick to. Don't worry though, it will grow back properly, it just takes time.

Hi Stephanie. Try OPI's original Nail Envy solution - it's a clear polish you apply every other day that helps your nails stay strong, avoid chipping, and grow faster. It also works well as a base or top coat, so you can use it effectively while using polish.

It is somewhat pricey - around $18 a bottle, but if you have a friend who is a hair stylist or nail tech, they could purchase it for much less at a beauty supply store. I don't believe that Sally Beauty Supply carries it.

OPI Nail Envy. Green packaging. It works like a charm. It's strengthening and they also have different formulas if you have sensitive nails which you may have if you just took off acrylic nails. It's awesome. More expensive than Sally Hansen crap that doesn't work so It's worth it!

I like nailtique, but it is pretty pricey...about $10-$12 for a very small bottle.
