each system has its respective pros and cons
ps3 has the high def and massive muti media and yet i would have to dish out the massive $599.99 for it.
the 360 on the other hand has had a full year of next gen expirence and is much cheaper. but all its games seem to mesh togethr and get sort of boring plus i gives nothing new to the table like the ps3 and wii's controllers.

what system should i buy in the long run?
P.S. (no fanboys please i want opinions from gamers who see both sides)

I think that the CURRENT best choice for a system is the Xbox 360 because it is easily attainable and it has a wide selection of games. But the PS3 hasn't had a big chance yet and there aren't many games because it releaesed a month ago. If you have ever seen the first Ps2 games made there not nearly as good as they are now. (The PS3 also has Blu-ray and one of those normally costs a thousand bucks) If you're thinking of buying one I'd wait to see which comes out on top. I want a PS3 and a Wii personally because they've actually changed something. What did Xbox change? Nothing big like Blu-ray or a motion sensing controller. I'm not saying it's a bad system, because it's not, I'm saying they could have helped revolutionize gaming a bit more.

in case you do no longer care approximately Halo 3 or GoW, then do no longer even difficulty with the 360. The 360 does not have many sturdy video games that the PS3 does not have. PS3 has so plenty extra video games that would wholesome you. The 360 will fee additional money interior the long-term. And as quickly as the subsequent technology structures are launched, Microsoft will drop the Xbox 360 altogether in basic terms like what befell to the Xbox. Sony will nonetheless help the PS3 with video games and stuff, even whilst the PS4 comes out years from now.

well if you can wait for more games to release and have the money then go with the ps3, but if you dont want to wait and want to play fun games right away go with the 360, they should both be strong in the long run, the ps3 needs atleast a year tho to start gettin out better games, where as the 360 went thru a year and has soem really good games for it allready, its all a matter of what catches your eye more

I think you sohuld buy the PS3. It seems to be a very durable system. I have read reviews on the XBOX 360, and people have said that theirs literally fried up. The PS3 will have a good selection of games pretty soon, as you can see with the PS2. In conclusion, I think that you soulf get the PS3! I hope this helped you!

I'd wait a few months until the ps3 becomes readily available in stores, and then buy it. This way, the bugs will be worked out, and hopefully the games will get better.
