ones special needs? I am in my mid 30’s. Worked very hard and done well for myself and my family. I am tired of taking care of everyone who happens to have some special needs. I know that some are born this way, some do it to themselves by doing stupid things, some are just lazy, and some just fake it. I see the negative effects of this philosophy in my children’s schools, my work place, stores, and many other places. I am sorry but why should their problems affect my life so much. Why should my child get less one on one attention from the teacher because we are mainstreaming mentally handicapped children who take up 3 times as much time as a normal kid? They are now trying to change our paper money so the blind have trouble using it. Why cant they use debit cards or coins. 10% of poplulation is gay so they want everything changed to make them happy. Ladies want to be able to breast feed thier kids at work. Where does it end.

You know, half the stuff you're whining about is actually none of your business. What's it to you if my daughter chooses to nurse her infant in public? You telling me you've never seen a woman's breast before?

And the other half of your whine is puerile and pathetic: Eeek! They gonna change the dollar bill so a blind person can more easily use it! Aw, that's gonna be the end of the world, whine whiiiiiiine!

S'matter with you? Being able to tell the difference between a five and a ten will make blind people LESS dependent upon others - exactly what you say you want!

Man, I wish you would show me your warrant, written out and signed by the Hand of God Himself appointing YOU judge over whether or not a disabled person is entitled to extra assistance! C'mon, y'big bada$$, I'm waiting. Oh - ain't got such of a thing, have ya? So where do you get off, huh?

Tell me, what would you do with all these disabled people, huh? Send 'em to Sobibor to be gassed like Hitler did? Hey - what was it in your childhood that so monstrously warped your soul? Go away, Herr Hitler - just go away!

The world is made for everyone. The less fortunate may not have earned the respect that you have for yourself, but everyone has a problem. Always do the most loving thing in thought and deed. When someone is hurt help them no matter their skin color, religion, disabilty. YOur love for yourself--self respect--is much more important. We are all part of something else.

Relax, bro. Taking care of others should be coming from your heart. If not, you are just cheating yourself. These people need help. They are "handicapped" and are part of our society. So if you can not handle it, don't do it then because someone will anyway.

Compassion.
It's one of the things that separates us from the animals.
To do away with compassion makes us less than human. I, for one, don't want that.
