How about a trip to a nearby bed and breakfast? It would make for a romantic weekend. And jewelry always works.

Well it depends on how much money you want to spend. Women love the idea that husbands take the time to remember things. So why not give her something of past but represents something of the future. Go to a place that she has always wanted to go romantic. Surprise her don't pack any luggage and sweep her away to a get away! Shop for clothing when you get there!

Try wrapping yourself up in just a nice big red bow. That would certainly be romantic and could be a lot of fun too. For both of you!!! Oh and a nice bottle of chilled champagne (a good one ofcourse) would also be very romantic. All the best and Merry Xmas to you both.

If seldom have time together just the two of you - then make a big night of it - dinner, movie/play, ride together(you pick the form) ...... it is not so much the action but the thought.
If have plenty of time together - then get a gift of thoughtfulness - simple piece of jewelry, full spa treatment package, something that remembers your special day/your wedding....etc.

My husband gave me a ring once. It was a ring with 3 small hearts with diamonds in the middle. He took me to a empty field and turned on the radio and we dance in the moon light. He said the ring symbolized My heart, his heart and our love in the middle. I just melted. That was so romantic
