The bonds of friendship can only grow stronger with time and experiences.
Time to experience crazy wild times together. Or offer a supportive shoulder in times of need. That quiet walk or that laugh-fest at the cafe all contribute. You know that crazy weekend you spent with "so-and-so"?!...well, that will go down in the "remember when" conversations, only strengthening that connection.
Not all experiences will be grand, due to the tribulations that we face in our own lives and the situations that we enter into with others, but because of these "valleys" only can we discover the "peaks" in our friendships.
With both positive memories and even a few of those "trying times", undeniably the bonds with your friends will become stronger.

Be more open with them. Share your worries. If you have confidences between people it makes them closer friends. Be a good listener and strive to give good advice.

Just 'How Strong' do you want it to be....?
and
I wonder whether they are open to this!
And, don't forget, a need for closeness can be seen as other things or in other terms, whilst also in danger of becoming claustrophobic for some people.
Have you thought of any of those outcomes?
Sash.

If they are your true friends....then you should have to do little more to be closer. Just be good to them and be there for them no matter what. Love them, care for them and respect them.

Always have their backs and give them a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen to them. Always take their side, even when they are wrong.
