gil scott herron and the last poets/bob dylan "subterranean homesick blues" in 1964!!that's the first and i stopped listening to the "new stuff" before it started!!do you know some of those jokers threatened a world tour by "earth ,wind and fire" because of something said that was slightly determental in an interview about "rap" music???it's all for the most part terriblly bad and repetitive and i long for the days of good songwriting and coherent performances again!!someone has got to put the amateurs back in their own showers where only thet have to listen to it!!!motown where are you when we desperately need you?????shame on warner brothers for financially backing this monumental step back into the stone age of musical possibilities!!
