So I really want to become a model, but I have no idea where to start. I've looked at different websites over the internet, and yet, I still can't find an answer. I know I could be really good at it and I've got the looks, I just need the resources. Does anyone out there model as it is or can anyone help me out and tell me what to do first? Thank you soooo much!

Whatever you do, DON'T go to a modeling school! Check the phonebook or online for different agencies and find out what their requirements are. Most agencies want you to send in two shots of you--a headshot with little or no make-up, and a full body shot in a bathing suit or something similar to see what your body looks like. They'll review your pictures, and if they like what they see, they'll give you a call.
You can also go to open calls if there are agencies you live close to that you're interested. At an open call, you bring your pictures with you (same pictures as mentioned above), and fill out a form with your information and such (measurements, dress size, etc). Depending on the size of the agency, you could meet with an agent individually or they can line you up with a bunch of other hopefuls and determine who out that line has what they're looking for.
Some agencies may be looking for something specific that you may not have, so you might get turned down or not contacted by a few. It could go either way! I had a friend who sent her pictures out to a ton of agencies and got nothing, and I went to one open call and got an offer. It's a crap shoot! lol.
Oh, and don't spend money on professional pictures! Have a friend or someone take pictures and the agency will accept those perfectly fine. They can see if you have what they're looking for from the pictures alone, and they don't WANT you to spend a lot of money! If they like you, they'll give you all the training and pictures you need. Some agencies may ask you to pay a small fee for photos, but if they ask you to pay for training or for your portfolio, run away!! lol.

What you need to do is find the nearest modeling agency to where you are and set up an appointment. If you go down there and you are "model material" they will get you started at no cost to you. If they tell you need to pay up front then walk out the door immediately. You should not have to pay for anything if they really believe you can do it.

Register! add photos, if ytou dont have find goo photographer who will help yoiu to have good photos, then create great portfolio and contact modeling agencies in your area. this site can help with everything.

If you get a legit answer let me know! I would say try to build a portfolio and find an agency. I'm in Texas and I've researched and can't find an agency here.

The very toughest facet will likely be discovering an agent to symbolize you. If they ever ask you for cash, they don't seem to be a truly agent. A truly agent "backs you". They post the entire cash, and also you pay them again later while you begin operating. Good success!

All you have to do is find an agent. My aunt is an agent and she has many people come to her and she does the rest for them..Just eaither look online for an agent or in a phone book. Trust me there are TONS of agents looking for business with you.

okay first u need to get ur headshots.(all it is , is a black and white picture with ur name on the front done professionally)than go to casting calls.(if they want u to pay them -ie.john robert powers - than its a scam dont go for it.and if u dont live in a popular state its gonna be alot harder.if u go to castingcallus.com
thay can schedule you for a call.
