Looking online, I could not find a reference listing pine needles as poison to rabbits. Oak was listed, but not pine. Your rabbit is probably ok.
However, the characteristic pine scent, which you find in shavings and in needles, makes rabbits build up a tolerance to many drugs that makes them more difficult to treat. Overexposure to pine and cedar in general can cause problems. Vets recommend paper or aspen bedding.
Eating Ponderosa pine needles has been linked to abortions in cattle. Don't let him eat much Ponderosa needles, especially if it's a she that you plan on breeding.
Animals are usually good at figuring out which plants are poisonous to them, if they don't die from the first meal. Since he's been eating these for a while, you can probably trust his judgment in moderation. Don't let him eat too many, and watch him for any problems.

do not allow him any more pine needele. if he has been eating them all along and lived thru it... then he is probably ok... but no more. rabits have a very sensitive digestive system. Timothy hay and oat hat are the best for him... sometimes a little alfalfa. too much spinich and greens is not good on a daily basis but as a great treat. also papaya tablet are afan of rabbit. shake the little can and see his ears perk up. he will come running.

In my personal opinion, I would say no. They are sharp and can cause internal damage. Isn't there a way to keep him away from them?
