Why ask, mate? You can't decide for yourself or you just have no feelings towards your father?

The anniversary of your dads passing should be let go. It's another day of the year. I always remember what days my parents died, I'm never sad on those days, just thoughtful. Good things have happened on those days too, reflect on the good times, let the "anniversary" go.

Well I'm pretty sure your dad would'nt want you to be sad any day, and neither would I. Sadness is an emotion that will come when ever you choose, so its up to you. hope everything goes alright with that, but the best way to go is to not be sad at all :)

Don't be sad, just remember all the things you loved about him. That's what anniversaries are for a time to remember

i dont think u should get sad at all !! just remember the good times u had and smile and laugh about it. my grandpa died about 3-4 years ago and the only way that i could stay strong for my family was to not be as sad around them. i really miss my grandpa but instead of being all awww i wish he was wit me now :( and moping around da house all day. think of the happy thinks that u can remember and laugh about. my grandpa always told LOTS of jokes so that is wat i think of when i start to get sad it makes it a lot better. hope wat i said helps. srry bout losing ur dad. i know its hard

your dad wouldn't want you to be sad. he would want you to be at ease knowing he is in a better place. death makes us selfish. we want people back for our sake, not necessarily for theirs.
I'm sorry for your loss, and, if you must, be sad tonight. Maybe tomorrow won't be so bad.
God's Blessings!
