I know a friend who is looking for a new computer and he wants a Mac. WHats the best one?
with all the features it has too be
fast, have a camera and it need too be able to run DVD's and stuff

imacs the best for the money but for about the same price you can get a macbook (the laptop) which is slightly less poerful. they both have cameras and are reliable and easy to use. got a imac and love it, the screen is nice. sister has the macbook which is also great. teh thirteen inch screen looks bigger than it is.

All macs are great, the new imacs have built in cameras with a really fun program called photobooth. It's a blast. There is going to be a new operating system coming out on macs after the first of the year called leopard. It has this REALLY cool program called time machine, that AUTOMATICALLY backs up everything, so you will never lose anything again. And you can find it easily! It's totally cool.
Don't forget that macs now run windows, so not only do you get all the cool mac programs, NO worries, viruses or spyware, but the ability to run windows if you need to.
Macs are the only way to go. Your friend is one smart cookie!

Depending on whether you want a Mac desktop or laptop, the best one would be the new mac found on the mac.com website. usually apple products are all priced the same wherever you go, so don't try really hard looking for a cheaper price. below is two websites, the first one is a link to a website where you can customize and computer depending on what you want. the second is a link to a website with the same thing, but with laptops.

Kind of an oxymoron. But I would go with a MacBook - they have Intel Processors now. That is the only Mac I would buy. It's a cool looking notebook with cool features - great video card and monitor, but kind of expensive, they start at over a grand, when you could get a PC notebook for almost half.
