Someone accidentally put a fine black ink pen on my couch uncovered. The black ink leaked on the couch, it's made of soft suede. The ink made an ugly black stain about the size of a quarter. I know it's not a big stain, but it makes me very mad because it's ugly & noticable since my couch is light caramel color. I paid alot of this couch & will not just leave the stain there sitting. What's the best stain remover that I can purchase over the counter?

You aren't going to believe this.... but rubbing alcohol is the best substance to remove ink from anything. No kidding. If you don't believe me, take some ink and put it on your hands. Then use rubbing alcohol to remove it. My dad worked at a newspaper and that's what they all used to remove the ink. I always use it to remove ink.... it works on any ink... and rubbing alcohol can even be bought at the dollar store now so it's definitely the cheapest product.

Now, get to it (I bet you already have some rubbing alcohol in the house) and enjoy your new couch once again!

All stain removers should be over the counter..I dont think you'd need a prescription....lol.

But umm go a place that sells suede clothing or even a shoe repair place since they fix suede shoes. Buy some suede cleaner from them. Anything else would just mess it all up.

I would try hairspray...I read on the internet that hairspray works the best on getting ink stains out of fabric. I made a huge permanent marker mark on my jeans and hairspray took it out after a few minutes of rubbing!
