I recall my brother mentioning in Changi Airport, Singapore, they have something like a room with a high percentage of oxygen. Everyone relaxes and smiles etc. My Chemistry teacher also confirmed this one day. How exactly does a high concentration of oxygen in the air you breathe make you happier?

Endorphins.
It's like getting high off a drug.
There is an oxygen bar downtown where I live, where you can pay for a half-hour of inhalation of pure O2.

It is due to your brain being flooded with more O2 then it is used to. It will make you dizzy, happy, disoriented. Too much O2 is actually bad for you.
