If so does anyone know when?

From what I've heard they are considering making a sequel that involves NONE of the original cast--focusing on Gambit. They've approached the guy who plays Sawyer from Lost to play Gambit. He was supposed to be in X3 but his shooting schedule from Lost wouldn't allow it. No word on a director, but the whole thing sounds like a flop to me.

Yes, the ending of the last one suggests an X-men 4. I just dont know when.

Depends on who you believe...

In January, Fox confirmed there would be, but I doubt any of the main actors would return...

Despite the stupid title "X-Men: The Last Stand", Fox Head Tom Rothman has all but confirmed that there will indeed be an X-Men 4, and probably more after that as well. Now it's all well and good for him to say that now... but if X-Men 3 is a bomb (which we all know it won't be... even if it sucks) then those words will be quickly eaten.

As of right now there is no fourth X-Men movie in production, but there are currently in pre-production on twp prequel movies, one about Wolverine starring Hugh Jackman http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458525/ and another with Magneto as young man http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0499519/. Other cast members from the original movies have expressed interests in doing a fourth film. Sean Ashmore - http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=17574 said he was under contract for a 4th film but it would not be an ensamble film with numerous "X-Men". The films' exectutive producer also said that it was possible - http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=16008.

I was under the impression that "The Last Stand" meant the end. But who knows... It would suck to have an X-men movie without Professor Xavier, but I wouldn't mind seeing wolverine again/

they had better, i can't stand the way they left it hanging in X3, i also hate how they barely touched on all the new characters they had, disappointing, i've heard about the Wolverine movie coming later, but they better do something else to at least wrap things up a little better than they did..... totally aggravating

Not unless they want to be total idiots. they've killed off half the main chars, and from day 1 it was only supposed to be a trilogy.
