also..... A rock is thrown from the bottom of a tall building. The distance, in feet , between the rock and the ground (t) seconds after it is thrown is given by d=-16t squared -2t+405.How Long after the rock is thrown is it 300 feet from the ground?

You can't complete the square with a coefficient of more then 1 on the sqaured term.
