Lots of people are shy. Please remember this: You are just as important as the people standing around you and you have just as much right to speak your opinion. You words are just as important and unless you open up and let them out noone is ever going to hear you. So, be nice and respectable, but use your voice and make you opinion count. Remember the most outgoing person sounds intellegent and popular because they openned their voice and were heard.

Not me, but I know some people who were. At least one of these people found that being an actor on a stage made him less shy, probably (I'm guessing here) because he didn't have to be himself at all and only had to be the part he was playing. He's much less shy now many years later.

i've been really shy my entire life. but, i started talking to people who had some of my interests and i got friends. from my friends i confidence. like i knew that no matter what someone had my back. so then, i was able to talk to more people and becoming more outgoing. i'm still shy sometimes but, i grew out of it and moved past it. thinking back on it now, it seems really silly. being shy made me lose out on a lot of time i could've been having a lot of fun. i just thought i was shy and i became shyer, when the entire time i could've had more faith in myself and been outgoing.

Years ago I was terrified of having to speak before a group or talk to a girl. A teacher said to envision who you are nervous talking to sitting on a toilet while you are speaking; just lie down and consider this...that little bit of superiority, real or imagined, can really help. Today I am a doctor and have to talk all damn day to people; many do not like what I have to say. But I use this trick all the time. Try it but practice first.

I used to be so shy that I would die of thirst rather then ask someone for a drink of water. A friend signed me up for a Dale Carnegie course (how to win friends and influence people). Some people think that I'm too out going now.

uh...people do it all the time, everybody's shy around people they don't really know, but once you feel comfortable with somebody you become more outgoing, you feel comfortable to be yourself.

most people that are shy think abotu doing things/ saying things and don't do it.
If you are shy just do some things that are on your mind don't think about what other people would think of you. just go for it!!!!
good luck!!!
remember don't think bout it.
