Since he could be out for most of the remaining season, I say drop him. If he is out for an extended period of time, then it probably won't be worth it to hang on to him.

Yup. I'm in a 20-team league and someone has dropped David West, and yet no one dares to pick him up. That says a lot about his fantasy status right now.

He will have surgery and it should take months. His season might be over.

you might want to since he's injured right now but he can be a pretty good addition so i would have to say be patient and it will payoff

depends on who's available to replace him. if none, then just put him on the bench list.
