My brother did. He met up with a girl in a music chat room. They lived about an hour apart. They met and got to be good friends, then started dating and 4 years later, they got married. She's a terrific person and they're perfect for each other.
You always hear stories about people meeting people online and they're weird and stuff, and I wondered about her too, but she's totally normal.

yes i did. more than once. it's not a huge deal. i've worked with people over the internet before and met them afterwards, too. not everyone is a psycho.

Yes I have, and it was wonderful. We had talked for a long time before meeting, and I felt like I really knew him.
