I think it would be much better if they talked to the person in the pregame show but it does get annyoing when I am trying to watch a football game and some movie/tv dude is talking about a new movie. I would rather hear stats and information about what is going on during the game and every now and then having a guest Host.

Yea I HATE that too. I am there to watch Monday Night Football for FOOTBALL imagine that? A few weeks ago they brought Dwayne Wade to talk to him right in the middle of the game. I don't watch the NBA so I could care less, just show the game! The networks think that this sport is so uninteresting that you have to have something else going on to keep sports fans attention. Idiots.

Ah ...everything old is new again. This isn't a new concept for MNF ...they did this for YEARS back in the day (Reagan, John Lennon, Billy Crystal, etc.). Keep this in mind ... ESPN is owned by ABC .... ABC is owned by Disney. One may want to take a look and see if there is a "pattern" to the type of guests that are showing up on MNF - like Dwayne Wade ... hmmm ....wonder who has the TV rights to NBA basketball? Same thing with Fox .... think it's a coincidence that it seems only Fox TV stars show up in the stands at the World Series? Same concept - money talks, the other stuff walks.

I cant stand it, expecially last night when I was trying to watch the Colts make loose meat sandwiches out of the Bungles. Lance Armstrongs BF kept talking about how it was the best story he ever read, and it true!!! And then he shocked us with his math skills, you got one hour, then you got one day, then you got a week, a month, 12 month, you got a year!!! Shut up, it pisses me off that ESPN tries to make a little side change by putting on these comercials during the football game. Its lame, hopefully ESPN will either change up next year, or get canned from its NFL monday night duties.

I'm not a big fan of it only because it's all self-promotion and 1/2 the people that are on don't know anything about football. If they were fans of the sport, it would be a different story.

Yeah...It's pretty dumb. If they have something to do with football, then why not have them in the booth. But if its some loser that says they love football and couldn't name one player from each team, throw em out the window.

it's called American promotional television. Matthew isn't so bad.....he's only on for a few minutes each quarter. I'm sure you can handle it.
