my aunt owns a bussiness in north hollywood and her complex got sold and the new landlord is telling her to accept a new lease which will double her rent to 2500 and they still have a year left on their old lease and the landlord says that if they wait for their lease to expire than the new lease will triple in price and he is making many changes and forcing her to pay out of her pockets i want to know were i can go to find out about her rights and about rent control in north hollywood p.s her store is very small its a soccer apparels store

Ah the hazards of unbridled free enterprise ready to stomp on the little guy (or in your case, lady)

Rent control generally does not cover commecial property.
