im so confused with language.
a/b '/' should be a vertical line. this means a is divisible by b,b is a mutiple of a. so 5/20 ,5/355 they are called 5 is divisible by 20. but can this work 20/5. 20 is divisible by 5? and this 15/18 ? because 15 and 18 have the same factor 3.
more examples would be appreciated
cheers

The | symbol usually means "divides".

It's only true if the number on the left is a factor of the number on the right.

so 5|20 is true, but 20|5 is not. Neither is 15|18, but 3|15 and 3|18 are true.

first u must know the symbol of division that is / . the left number will be divide the right number.
so as example 5/20 is 5 divide the 20. the answer is u get the 0.205.
if u say that 20 divide by 5 is wrong ,
15/8 is 15 divide the 8.
if u say that 8 divide the 15 is wrong
practise makes perfect
