It depends. Some people think that if you are only physically attracted to people of your own race, that makes you racist. Political correctness has made it so that if you point out a difference between you and someone of another race, you are suddenly a racist. That's not true and I'll tell you why.
We had an Amber Alert for a little girl. The description was...3 years old, brown eyes, black hair, and wearing a pink shirt with a bow at the neckline, and jeans.
This little girl could have been Hispanic, or African American, or Caucasian. By NOT saying she was any of the above, she may never have been located. Finally, they did get her home...but only after finally telling the public that she was black. They found her in a car with her non-custodial father and she was fine.
While I don't think everyone is a little 'racist'...I think everyone is a little predudiced, and every race has stereotypes. Stereotypes are based in reality, so some of the predudices we complain about, ARE based in reality and have some truth to them.
While some believe they have no predudice...and DO treat individuals with equal respect...we all find the easiest thing to jab at when someone makes us angry. If someone makes you mad and they're bald...you think "You bald headed jerk!" or if they are overweight, you think "Shut up, you big fat thing!", even if you really AREN'T predudiced against overweight or bald people.

The problem is that people are insecure and need to be a part of something. It might be a sports team or a college or a certain race, religion whatever. Unfortunately we are still not able to get over little differences that make us all Unique. It is easy to say "well we all have a little don't we"? If you are asking yourself that you already are questioning your own behavior. Let it go and just realize we're all humans and that should be all that matters.

have you ever witnessed youthful babies enjoying jointly in a college or nursery? babies elderly decrease than 7? they do no longer see shade, or racism - they play jointly fortunately and that they do no longer even see hierarchy or wealth or 'type'. they only see one yet another as babies. in case you asked them to describe one yet another they do no longer say 'black face' or 'white face' or 'brown face' etc etc. they only see one yet another as babies. whilst a newborn from an quite adverse history is pals with a woman from a extra privileged history it relatively is the mothers and fathers who disprove of the friendship and the comparable would be utilized for 'shade differences'. by making use of the time those babies get to approximately 9, 10 and above they then learn that there is a difference and it relatively is by using fact by making use of then they might have picked it up from their mothers and fathers. My element is? That the vicious circle is going around and around. The racists are coaching their babies to BE racists and luckily it is not all of us that thinks in the comparable way. So those babies then strengthen up and bypass the comparable directly to their own babies. till the ADULTS settle for the very incontrovertible fact that shade isn't an argument then how can society get rid of it? dying all of us crimson is highlighting the very incontrovertible fact that shade IS the project. shade isn't the project however the racist ignorant minds that help it relatively is the project.

I would have to say that everyone has a little prejudice in them whether it be against races or even people of a lower social status than them

Well, I love the racial jokes, but at the same time I don't hold any hatred or distaste for any type of race. I don't think that makes me racist, just observant. But if you still think i am....it doesn't really make a difference to me, and thats how much I don't care about this racial issue.

Racism is difficult to eradicate, because it comes from a basic natural instinct of mistrusting anybody who looks alien or "different" from the members of our tribe, clan, group, etc.
Little children instinctively isolate those they perceive as weak, less able or simply different and they can be, innocently, very cruel.
Only by reason and culture we manage to overcome such nasty feelings. Mixed societies also help a lot as everybody gets used to share activities and interests until nobody really pays attention anymore to such little differences.

everyone is racist to an extent. you may not like "blacks" or "muslims" if you can pick any religion or color or nationality that you may not trust or enjoy being with then you are racist to an extent. i wouldn t use the word racist to describe anyone because it seems to be a very strong word.
there are people who are not racist, some priest, monks perhaps, and truely good people

It's human nature to bond in groups with those like oneself, and to distrust and shun those unlike oneself. We are social creatures and that's how we've survived. To let this tendancy get the better of one's actions, especially if one has the economic power or other kind of power to make others miserable because they're different, that's racism.

Yes. If it were up to me, I'd put every Emo on the planet in a concentration camp to teach them true pain. I don't think Emos are a race, but oh well.
