How fast do Cons grow?

My pair of cons just spawned and the fry is about day old how fast will they grow and should I remove them?

The babies will grow fairly quickly on a good diet of BBS, daphnia, etc.
Fed meaty foods, they should reach young adulthood in a few months. If given only powdered/crushed flake food, they will remain juvenile size for a couple months. They will typically pair up at 1.5 inches or 6 months old, and should start spawning in earnest at 2 inches / 12 months.
