I really can't choose between the two. I like both sounds, and I really just like the look of Electric guitars. I like the sound that comes from the electric guitar, but I also cannot resist the look. Especially the Gibson SG GT. I like the acoustic because of the sound. You can produce multiuple sounds from it. I don't care a whole lot about the look, I just prefer it in tan, black, or dark, dark, blood-cherry. What's your say?

Although I like the simplicity of an acoustic, I prefer an electric. The different sound options and potential for volume are the difference. I agree with you also, I like the look of an electric. I am partial to the Strat but the Les Paul is close behind.

A blood-cherry electric. Thats what I would pick, the electric have better looking than acoustic, but electric has a very good sound too. Go with electric!

Oh goodness... both!
It really does depend on the song or type of music.
I love the sound of my little classical (acoustic) guitar, but give me a quilted maple electric for those upbeat songs...
Like others said, I'd probably go with the acoustic/electric combo if you absolutely can't decide. I think they come in all sorts of colors.

Accoustic is great. Especially to learn on. Once you get the hang of it, you can play any electric. I'm sure the same can be said for the opposite with some people. I tried electric first and then switched to accoustic and seemed to pick up more, quicker that way. Depends on the mood now, which one I play.

Go for the acoustic... and get a plug in (acoustic adapted to electric). Best of both worlds... :)
