Its very hard, I am in exactly the same situation now, and I have been there before, what most people are saying is true, you never really get over them, it just becomes easier with time and you learn to love them from afar. eventually you will feel the same way about some one else, but they will always be special to you.
If your feeling really bad about the situation then speak to your doctor - mine was great and have really helped me.
Hang in there it may take a while, its easier to get over some one if you are not around them all the time, unfortunately I do not have that luxury - but try to distance your self and become involved with other people.
i really hope this al works out for you - Take care :-)

You just have to get on with life and eventually you will stop thinking about him so much and you will fall in love with someone else. Its probably best if you dont see him as much because it will be easier to get over him that way. You could think about his faults too and why you would never work. Unfortunately there is no easy solution to getting over someone it just takes time. Go out and enjoy yourself.

You don't 'Get Over It.'
If you have any sense, then you combine that with your feelings of love and use it to learn, about your self, your experience and how it has changed you - and what it all means to you.
Just like in various martial arts, you can use the impetus, the very real momentum of your emotions for your own learning and its benefits.
Although it may well hurt you, don't waste the experience by falling into silly child-like emotional traps. Instead, be grateful for the experience.
best of luck.
Sash.

You need to find yourself someone else. Love is sometimes unfair but why should you suffer in this situation? Go out with some girlfriends and meet someone you can obtain and start to live again
Good luck x

Keep busy with lots of things to do. Go hang out with the people who care and support you. Find someone with similar qualities or wait for them to find you. Keep you self from being stuck in a rut.

By falling in love with someone else,or keep your self busy so you don't have time to think, or surround yourself with friends and family members.
Live a lavish life. Be adventurous, more spontaneous. That way you feel like you enjoying life more without him then with.
I'm going through that myself. It's hard.

It's hard... I'm trying to too. Spending time with friends helps, and talking it over with someone. Also try not to look at photos, and go watch movies or something to keep busy.

There is nothing wrong with knowing you will always love someone...even if you are not going to be with them.
If not this life, then maybe the next?
