go to reelwavs.com i would read something from good will hunting but you might take out the swear words. the nsa speech last about 2 min. if you click on the blue letters that say 'nsa.wav' you can hear the speech.

there are millions of good speeches. my first idea would be go to an english teacher or if you're in college or a lucky high school, find a theatre teacher, and ask about monologues. there are some amazing ones. The opening monologue to "Cheaper by the Dozen" by Frank is about 2 minutes, i think, and its amazing. in my opinion, it better to do a play than a normal book. as for a famous speech, those are hard because they were written specifically for that person. trying to duplicate any of the nuance would be difficult. I'd say find a nice monologue and give it a shot. I can't give ya any websites off the top of my head, but check out "cheaper by the dozen" and then plays by chekov, oscar wilde, and maybe arthur miller for ideas.

I've always loved the opening scene from the movie "Patton" starring George C. Scott. Patton never actually gave THAT particular speech, but the entire speech as delivered is a conglomeration of a number of his speeches...

just recite the Preamble. It's not real long but it should last you about 2 mins. if you create the right rythm
