everyday i get these guys wanting to chat and they always start with hi sexy how the hell can someone think your sexy if they havent met you but just see your avitar for all they know i could be some buck tooth homebody with warts all over me are some guys that desperate that they would go thru the whole entire yahoo directory to find a woman to talk to

Lol. Well, some of those guys just use that 'hi, sexy' thing as a way of saying 'hello'. It doesn't really have to mean anything. And I don't think they do it because they're desperate. They don't lack logic completley. I mean they are aware of the fact that they wouldn't be able to meet you and hook up with you that easily. But they just keep hoping and talking to you... which seems to be enough for them sometimes. You know what they say, happiness is not a destination, it's a journey. Lol.

I never initiated any Im with anyone but the girls I talk to on yahoo are all girls that Immed me first and none of them said hi sexy or any crap like that

I usually ignore the ones that start out a conversation that way. If they IM me and want to chat without being offensive, it usually doesn't bother me.

I don't like being IM'd from total strangers.
People from message boards or Yahoo! Groups I post in, familiarly is fine, if we post cordial to each other.
