i've been wearing make-up but just 2day my rents said i had 2 quit but i'll look weird if i don't have it on

what should i do?

i've only been wearing a little mascara and they get all freaked!

i'm 12 years old and i have the same problem(sorta)!
i started wearing eyeliner when i was 11
and i know its such a young age to start wearing eye make up ..
but you know what?
i didn't give a c.rap about what other ppl who don't even know me said
when i started wearing it, i thought i looked SOO much better.
so i thought i found the key to beauty.
and i DID.
i kept on wearing eyeliner and eventually a little bit of mascara, and today , as a 12 year old i still wear it.

and my parents said the same thing.
"you gotta quit this! stop wearing eyeliner! you look beautiful JUST the way you are, honey!"
and i was just like "blablababla" in my mind LOL
and i got yelled by mom SEVERAL times.
so i try to keep it thin a little(the eyeliner use)
i don't know which makeup utensil you use, but if you want to keep on wearing makeup, you should tell your parents when they are calmed, and tell them how much your selfpotential goes up and at this stage you care a lot about your appearance and trust me, they will understand.
just don't cake it on.

i use a medium line of eyeliner(not too much, not TOOO little), and strangers have asked me if i was a model(seriously), andthat i was an exotic beautiful girl.
make up can change it all!
but just keep it to a limit where you don't look like a clown, you know? ;-)

Do you wear alot of make-up? I mean do you pack it on or cake it on or is it more natural. They shouldn't have a problem if it is more natural. If you do use to much then maybe it is possible for you to tone it down a bit and then they might not have such a big problem with it.

how old are you? your parents, btw-rents was a phrased used 10yrs ago, lol- know whats best for you. if you really want to wear it, ask your mom to show you the 'right way' to wear it, please don't do the black eyeliner the whole way around the eye!! makes you look like you have raccooon eyes by the end of the day!
ask for bare minerals, they are way better for everyone, and you can get them super cheap on ebay!

maybe your parents want you too quit because you might be putting too much on .. try compromising with them or just wearing little to no makeup just for the little glow. and to make your eyes seem more suddle, try a brown liner .. especially if your eyes are blue .. it really makes them pop too .. and just a little bit of powder and your good to go ! hope this helps!
