Simba = Hamlet Jr
Mufasa = Hamlet Sr
Scar = Claudius
Nala = Ophelia (sort of), or Horatio
Rafiki = Polonius
the cheetahs = Rosencrantz and Guildenstern (depends when & how you are looking at R&G), or Laertes (ordered to kill Hamlet/Simba by Claudius/Scar)
Timone & Pumba = R&G, or the gravediggers (comic relief)

Hamlet Jr/Simba is in line for the throne, but Claudius/Scar (uncle) kills Hamlet Sr/Mufasa (father) to usurp it.

Both Simba and Hamlet are sent away - although Simba stays away for longer than Hamlet.

Both Simba and Hamlet are in a state of melancholy, not sure whether to take action, for quite some time.

Both Simba and Hamlet speak to their dead fathers, then seek revenge.

While Claudius/Scar is in power, he is too self-absorbed to notice that the country is falling to pieces around him. The whole personal state of the family as a microcosm of the state of the nation sort of thing.

The Lion King follows almost the exact same plot line as Hamlet. Disney just polished it up and simplified it a bit for the little kids.

Lion King as Hamlet, Disney-style. Interesting topic. I totally agree first answer. Compare the plots side by side and right your intro and conclusion last. Don't forget one MAJOR thing, however. THE ENDINGS. Lion King is slightly more... "Disney" than Hamlet (note: sarcasm). One is a tragedy and the other is, for all intents and purposes, a comedy.

there is one movie that comprises options...The Glass residing house. The plot is such as Hamlet. the daddy is murdered, the uncle is presented in run the loved ones (rule the dominion), the son fights to regain administration of the residing house and their is the twist of homicide. the version is that the boy's mom is likewise murdered in this movie. yet there's a actual similarity. I also study on line about the television sequence "The Sons of Anarchy" reflected the plot and storyline of Hamlet. you may favor to study that extra. that is a good question. good success on it.

Start by doing an outline of the plot for each movie, then set them side by side. What's the same?

With a paper like this (cool topic, BTW!) it's probably easiest to start with the body of the paper and do the beginning and conclusion last.
