first of all I will say color has nothing to do with it. second, make sure you meet in a public place and if possible have someone(s) you know in the place also or if it's your home make sure it's a party type surrounding. third make sure you have plenty of cash on your body not your purse. fourth let at least 2 people know the name and address of the place you are going and if something changes let them know. fifth don't tell more then he already knows. sixth if he forgot his wallet let him go and forget it. find out all you can about him.
his home phone, work phone etc.
when you meet him ASK TO SEE HIS ID AND GET HIS LICENSE PLATE NUMBER.
if he has a problem with this go home!!!
i have dated several men from the Internet, all have been exactly what and who they say they are and have never had a problem with them letting me see their id.
don't forget there is always the possibility of getting a real problem.
