If you were running a Dynasty. What points would you have and how would you run your Military. As if it was an "Idiots guide to running a military".

Were I to create and run a military I would
1- Make it subordinate to myself. In other words, I'm the commander.
2- Create a professional officer and non-commissioned officer corps. I can do this by offering decent pay and conditions. Plus chance of advancement, based on merit.
3- Start building a technological base to provide the best weapons
4- Show through my actions that the military is a respected institution. Make service in the military a requirement for entry into the political and cultural elite.
5- Provide sufficient funds to properly train, and support troops. Build safeguards to make sure that funds are used for their intended purpose. Ruthlessly deal with corruption, whether civilian or military

4-Experienced leadership

I would make sure everyone knew the difference between "right" and "write" when writing a paper.
