i might be going to winter formal. i want to wear this brown dress i have. Is brown a good color for this dance? or is it too dull? i really like this dress, its a cute design, but i'm not 100% sure about the color. I have light brown skin, btw, just to get it in perspective.

Brown would be a very good colour. In winter formals, people usually wear too much colour (like a very bright pink or blue), if not they wear black! Watch, everyone will show up in black. So brown is perfect, it has a bit of colour without being too bright. And it would be different from everyone else's!

Well if i was going to a "winter formal" i wouldn't wear brown. If i was you i would wear a color that matches with the winter such as: white, light blue, or very light cool colors. When i get older i want to a fashion designer trust me i know these things.

I would wear gold or turquoise jewelry. I think brown is a great color for a winter formal!

Brown is more of a fall color, I personally like winter white, an off white. Or a deep navy blue, deep red or red is a good winter color, also bugundy, silver or green.

add sexy sparkly bronze/gold heels and bag and jewelery and keep the make up the same and you will look great the msot important thing to remeber is you have to be happy and if you love the dress then go for it, have fun :)

it will be pretty, i'm sure. gold jewelry will look great with your skin tone and the dress. trust me, even if you normally don't wear gold it will brighten you up.
