I agree - you have anxiety. I also see that you have been posting virtually the same question again and again and getting good responses - so perhaps you need to learn to trust what people are telling you. It is best to seek help for anxiety - no more doctors! No more questions! There are many books you can find that will help you. Some tell you to use affirmations to ease the anxiety - I found that worked very effectively. One wonderful inspirational book that I can particularly recommend is "the Game of Life and How To Play it" by Florence Scovel Shinn. As she says life is a wonderful game but for a lot of us it is more like a battle. She teaches the rules of the game in a very personable, light hearted way. Also, if you can get to some yoga classes, particularly the ones were you can learn meditation and mind stilling techniques(a lot of anxiety comes from having an overactive mind) - that will help you. I was particularly drawn to yoga groups that employed chanting and repetition of mantras - that was the most effective cure for me. If you email me I can recommend books and yoga groups. Please bless yourself and then GOD WILL BLESS YOU!

The doctors are right, babe. Get one of them to give you a referral to a good psychologist, who'll help you find out what triggered your anxiety in the first place, and then help you deal with it and eventually eliminate it.
I suffer from an anxiety disorder, and understanding it is the first step to recovery. If you let it go, it'll get worse, it'll really start affecting your day to day living, you'll probably start having panic attacks, and your life will just turn to crap.
Get a referral now and start looking after yourself.
If you're interested, go to www.panicattacks.com.au. There are two books there you should get (you can buy hard copies, or get them as eBooks). They're called Power Over Panic, and Working Through Panic. They're brilliant books.

Well I know how you feel I had my son about a year ago(my third child) and i got my first panick attack the next night in the hospital and have had them ever since I am only 24 years old but I have been through hell and my mom gets anxiety too and it is also hereditary but for months everytime I would get one I thought I was going to die I was afraid to be left alone with my children because I though I was going to die and they would be left alone all night by them selves screaming(my fiance worked nights) I though I had a brain tumor or something because I would get really dizzy or that I was going to have a heart attack because I would get chest pains and it felt like there was someone sitting on my chest. but they put me on zoloft and it helped for a while but then eventually made them worse so now I am dealing with them on my own and learning how to control it. Avoid caffine I know it is hard for some but if I have just 1 12 oz can of pop I get a horrible panick attack. also avoid food with MSG (wich is in just about every thing that is boxed or processed) but it also triggers them. But it has been a year ago last week that I have been dealing with this you will eventually realize that its in your head and your not going to die and just keep telling yourself that and you will get through it .If you can you should also avoid high stress situations (the doctors say)but when you are going to college and have 3 young kids to take care of it in nearly impossible. but you could look up some info online on anxiety it helped me to know what all the symptoms were to know that anxiety was really what was wrong with me .you could also get a prescription for klonopin or clanzopan for panick attacks they relax you I only take a half of one when it gets really bad so It makes the panick attack go away but I can still function normally and take care of my kids. so I wish you luck and you are okay so don't worry you will get through it!

My husband is the same way, he went through the same exprience as you allmost. They said it was anxiety also, and he now takes xanax, it helps him alot and he only takes it when he needs it. Talk to your doctor about and antianxiety medicine. Good luck!

yeah, you have anxiety. Anyone who worries that much about something must have anxiety. Try to relax, and realize that these doctors (I mean hell, you went to EIGHT of them already!), know what they are talking about. THey've gone through years of schooling.
