My toilet go KABOOOM instead of 'flush'.Is plumbing correct? Why this is?

Last time I heard a toilet go kaboom I was in high school(1968-1972) when I and 3 others flushed cherry bombs down them!

My toilet sounds like a bomb is going off, very annoying. Anyway, the reason for that "KABOOOM" noise is to reserve water.

if its a new toilet most of them are kinda high powered if you will so they use very little water if its an old oe i cant help you there but i would not flush while sitting
