I got married a year ago but loved someone else for years before that. I keep dreaming of the person I was in love with even though I do love my husband. Does this mean I am still in love with the other person?

What you need to do is grow up and accept the responsibility of marriage. You need to put this other person in your past and move on with your future.
When thoughts of this man come into your head you should force them away with nice thoughts of your husband. Don't look back. Always look forward.

You should of thought about that before you said your vows. No to me you are still in love with this other man. You don't love your hubby is you did OR you would NOT have feelings for this other man. Look you have 2 ways to go here ..leave your hubby and find happiness with the other ( if he is around) Two you can forget about those feelings and concentrate on your marriage. One or the other. You just think you love with 2 men but you arent really.

Your dreams are not the answer to that. You can answer that in your waking life. Dreams are not only wish fulfillment. They represent all kinds of complicated feelings as well as very simple ones.
My first husband died 25 years ago. I still dream of him but love him? No. But whenever I feel helpless, out of control or as if my life is beyond me, there he is. I see him as another kind of reminder and hardly as a sign that I am still attached to him.
If you were still in love you would not even have to ask. So quit worrying about it and know that a dream is only that - a dream.

Probably. Dreams are merely wish-fulfillment. It doesn't mean you love your husband any less. The issue that may become apparent is if you see your ex again and he has the same feelings . . . THEN you need to be ohhh so careful. You have a lot at stake being married.

This mean you were so tired of waiting for this person to make a move on you, that you married a decent person that you were not emotionally in love with. You lied to him and you lied to yourself. There is nothing worse then getting married to somebody that you like, but you were never in love with. That is just sad.
This does not mean you are in love with another person.
You are just not in love with the man you married.
You are in love with the idea of being in love with someone whom you've been fantasizing with for years. Fanatasy and reality are two different things.

You can be in love with someone else but you must never let it go further than that (make that distinct separation). You need to see a therapist and they will help you sort this out. My advise to you is that you are married now and you need to fulfill your obligation (commitment) to them (in time the other will fade away) but not if you don't try. Good luck to you!

yea, sure you can. it either means you have to deal with your situation at hand and learn to forget this other person, which will be hard. its possible though and it takes energy, and positive energy.
you have to act the way you feel about your husband. you have to switch your brainwaves to show him how you feel and soon you'll be in love with the right man.
forget about your past love and forget him with a vengeance, understand? or get a divorce and be honest with your husband. you're only tormenting yourself by not making a decision yet.

Not sure if you're in love. You might be in love with what could have been if you were with the other person. You might love the other person but not be in love with them. Maybe you have some regrets? Maybe you're not married to the one you are in love with? How are these two people different?

Yes you can! It sucks! But, It will pass. Maybe you just have to have some kind of closing.
Sometimes it can last for years. You made the choice to marry and now you need to try and make it work.
If it was meant to be, it will, but just think about what you will lose. Sometimes God answers our questions in ways that we will only understand in time........

A BIG NO! NO!!!when u got married means he is the man/woman u want to be with for ups and down!!!why marrying him/her if u are still inlove with someone?i couldn't be inlove with someone even how kind he is when im married....
