Anyone who has ridden the train from Tokyo to Kyoto.Osaka could almost beleive that Japan is almost entirely urbanized and IS just one large Megalopolis.

Fortunately this isn't the case everywhere in Japan.

Not to offend you, but it can be offending, though, but your name is totally correct. No, Japan would be an EXTREMELY MODERN NATION in East Asia. They're 2 years ahead of the rest of the world, concerning technology.

Main CITIES in Japan are let's say, Tokyo (biggest metropolis in the world), Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe and many others! But one of the previous answerers is indeed correct in one thing, that Japan's so modern and totally urbanized that you can call the whole country a ONE BIG METROPOLIS!
