Are the penalties for the altercation that occurred Saturday between the Knicks and the Nuggets a big deal? Is $500,000 a lot of money to be spending on an altercation or is that just chump change? Is missing a few games a big deal?

THE PUNISHMENT FITS THE CRIME.

of course it is, without carmelo the nuggets dont have a chance. This is good news though for the 76ers because the nuggets might offer more for allen iverson since melo will be gone for a while. $500,000 is alot of money. 15 games is alot that's about half of my high school basketball season

Yes if you are the Nuggets because you lose your teams leading scorers and for the Knicks money doesn't matter.

wasn't enough.

money is cab fare for most of those over paid spoiled brats.
suspend one for 15 games and rest for fewer games is no good.

15 game suspension--with 45 games and season suspension next would be more like it with pay for games included.

I say the suspensions mean more. It's fans that won't be in the seats and W's that won't be on the board.
