Physical Activity:
Okay, well you shouldn’t just focus on getting one part of your body toned (ie stomach) you should aim to get toned all over. Start out slow. Try to jog for 20 minutes three to four times a week. If you can’t do that right away, don’t worry, just go at a level that isn’t too hard for you and build from there. Also, try new things, don’t get stuck in a rut doing the same thing over and over again. Try jogging, swimming, running, exercise DVD’s , or different seminars offered at your local YMCA. If you have cable there’s also a workout channel. Try the following websites for exercise ideas and tips:

Nutrition:
Also, try to eat healthier. Cut your caloric intake to about 1200 calories a day. DON’T go under because then you’ll be slowing down your metabolism. Keep a food journal to monitor what and when you eat, and write down the amount and the calories. Doing this can help you zero in on trouble times during the day that make you want to eat. Include variety in your foods. You should aim to eat a healthy diet of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and whole wheat breads. If you “fall of the wagon” and have a piece of chocolate that’s okay. In fact, to binge less, it’s recommended that you treat yourself with about a 100 calorie snack a day, and that snack can be whatever you like.
Good Luck!!

Cardio for at least 30 to 40 minutes is the key after watching food intake. Aim for at least 3 to 4 days a week. No matter how many crunches you do, if you do not reduce caloric intake and/or increase cardio your rock hard abs that you get through crunches, sit ups and weights will not show through the layer of fat.

lay on you back with your legs together off the ground at about a 45 degree angle. as you come up with your head to do a crunch, bring your knee in at the same time and touch it with the opposite elbow..if you bring in your left knee, touch it with your right elbow, and right knee with left elbow.
expect your abs to hurt like hell though if youre not used to exercising, trust me.

Cardio is good for that. Watch your diet. No late night eating/snacking. You should eat heavy after 6p.m.
