I know Bartley Gorman was the king of the gypsies until his death in 1992, I have no idea who took the crown though, maybe a Google search might come up with something for you, good luck.

Richest Gypsy King I know was Dodi, son of the owner of Harrods department store in London, but he died in a car accident with an English Princess. I do not think that anybody knows who is the present Gypsy King, as this must stay a secret while he lives. Besides, I think the Gypsies are under the rule of matriarcate and therefore this King should be the Mama Queen of the Gypsies.

I'm almost sure that it's David Essex! I saw an interview with him a while back, it was said then that he is the King of the Gypsies.
Strange I know, but I believe it to be true!

Er Tatti, all gypsey's are Romanian. That's their origin.
