They get the Fire Millen chants going at the Red Wings game! If that isn't to show how bad he is and how much everyone hates him then I don't know what will do it! He is so dumb for passing Lienart and then in 2007 if we get the 1st pick in the draft he should pick Troy Smith but hes probably gonna take some wide out again or Brady Quinn and in my opinion I think the Lions need a scrambling quarterback, maybe that will start something for them. Get something new going and we should start out by having Mr.Ford fire Mr.Millen!!

Matt millen, you make me laugh, he is probably one of the worst GM's i have ever had the displeasure of knowing to run a sports team. Our problem is not with just millen though, You run your organization from the top down, we have had different gms, and coaches for the last few years and notice the same trend a losing lions team. I think there is a problem with ownership, the fords. I mean common, his other business (Ford Motor Co.) is also not doing well, do we notice a trend here, he can't run his bread and butter, and surely cannot run his lions. I think that until the Ford's decide to sell the franchise we are not going to be looking at a title for our lowely lions.

Firing Matt Millen will make us feel better but it wont solve the problem. Millen has screwed up the Lions for 5 years, the Fords have destroyed all hope of a successful franchise since 1964. Remember even as stupid as Matt Millen is ,worst 5 year record in the history of NFL....that qualifies him as pretty stupid, he is far smarter than the Ford clan. Even after hitting rock bottom they extended his contract...that makes Millen smarter than them. He will blame the injuries,players (says they are talented enough to win,just dont work hard enough), coaching staff didnt get enough out of the players, etc.. And next season we will see more of the same....Millen further destroying any hope and the Ford family filling the stadium and making loads of money. Just Thank your lucky stars you arent Brady Quinn... he is going to get killed behind that talented (according to Millen) offensive line.
On second thought maybe not...Calvin Johnson is coming out this year (WR for those who dont know, and top ranked athlete in this upcoming draft)...bet I know what Matt is thinking!!!!!!!!!

It just pisses me off that weve had some good draft picks and it seems like we just go and blow it all away. Look at Joey Harrington, Jeff Garcia, Artose Pinner. These players were all on detroit and sucked, and most of us thought it was them but they left and are now kicking our a$$'s. Ford needs to step down, Ilitch should buy it, in my opinion. Then FIRE MILLEN, then drop coach and make Martz head coach. But for this year focus on losing all the rest of the games and getting number one pick for next year. Maybe we wont screw that up.

Yeah fire millen its a no brainer. Too many blown draft picks. The bad part is I liked a lot of those picks on draft day. The O line is so bad you can't really gage the Offense. The defense is rotten too. I thought lehman and bailey were studs but they are busts.

I agree- get rid of Millen. It is a shame that a good sports town like Detroit has to put up with such a lousy team.... PLEASE PLEASE get rid of Millen... then some others need to go, including non-entity owner- FORD.... New blood, new hope... city needs it badly!!!
