It can actually happen for up to 6 weeks and be normal. It sucks but it is worth it to have that beautiful baby.

Actually, they say you can bleed up to 8 weeks. I have three, and for all of them it was about 3-4 weeks but it's different then a period. The first few days are much heavier then a period, followed by a few days that are about the same, and then the rest is usually much lighter then a regular period.

yep i am sorry but it is true you can bleed anywhere from a few weeks to up to 8 weeks, everyone is different. i bleed for almost 7 weeks and i was sure glad it was over. i hate all that mess and you cant wear a tampon at all during that time so it is even worse. hope this helped you a bit :)

The amount of bleeding varies from person to person. And it also depends on how much moving around the female does after delivery. A lot of the times, too much movement increases bleeding.

Yeah its normal and lots of times it can last longer than just 3 weeks. Also its heavy bleeding- not like "oh im having my period" and change your pad every 4 hours-- and it can also have clots in it-- golfball and baseball size clots can be 'normal' although you should let your dr know-- but usually when you pass those- it's while you're still in the hospital.

yep usually 6 weeks, i bled for 3 months after i had my little one but then there was still placenta left inside so i had to get a dnc and after that it stopped when you breastfeed the baby you don't bleed as much because breastfeeding causes your uterus to umm contract or something when you bottle feed you bleed more because i don't know why you just do something with breastfeeding causing your uterus to return to normal quicker

For most people yes.. But no two people are alike.. What happen's to one might not happen to another.. If you bleed for 3 week's your body is trying to get itself back to what it was use to before you had the baby.. If you do it is normal and you don't have to worry unless you pass clots...
