I am not terrified of all spiders, just the big hairy ones! Like Huntsmans, goliath, wolf spiders etc, the big ones! I know that the worst they can do is bite, I know they aren't deadly. The ones I am terrified of most is Huntsmans, they are so quick! I want to get over this fear, as it has already affected my son. I went to get him from his room after his nap, and there was a MASSIVE huntsman spider above the door. I tried to be brave, I told my son to go and watch tv, so as not to frighten him. But, I was stuck in the room, as I could not pass under this huge eight-legged beast. It moved, I gasped, my son screamed. My fear had triggered his. I did manage to bolt out of the room eventually, but I was shaking so hard! I called a friend to come and "dispose" of it. I do not want my son to inherrit my fears.

Man I just got over phobias in my psychology class!! There is one treatment where you can associate spiders with something you enjoy. Like a song you really enjoy, when you are exposed ( a picture?) of a spider, it will make you feel at ease, and progress will result. There is also an extreme therapy that will expose you to the spider, gradually. You might want to look it up, ugh I wish I had my book with me! Im sure you can find something on the internet. Like I had watched a movie who had a phobia of snakes, and through this therapy disposed of it with in hours. She even named the snake! You either need to face your fears or see a psychologist.

Oh my god, I just searched that huntsman spider omg god bless your soul. I'm so scared of spiders that one night there was a spider in my room, I ran in my room without looking at it, got my pillow and slept on the couch I was so scared.

Okay ! this is how I handle the Big spider & or Bug.deal!
ya got to have a dirt devil or something close to that .point it at the darn thing and then ,well if ya did it right, it's insde the sm.vacc .see ? take it somewhere away from your door & open it .... leave till the things well gone!!!

trust me if my sister sees a dirty long legs shell run out of the hole nabourhood when she sore a hundsome she got in her car and drove to the city last night my sister sore one left the room i said whats the matter she said im just going to the bathroom she got back and was crying had my parentz down er than it fell she screamed woke the kids up upstairs!!!! and ran out of the house at least shes not as bad as my 21 year old sister the one menshond in the bigging i dont think you can get out of the spider fear sorry look on the internet it could help you i would but its brooken ill get back to you MAYBE :D bye n gud luk love ya xxx
