yes they do, They have small clusters of simple eyes. They don't have the well developed eye of many of the insects, but their eyes do allow them to see rather well. Although much of their hunting is done by sight and by very sensitive antennae. The antennae actually act in such a way as to compensate for their poorly developed eyes, with them they are able to feel around and can actually detect airborne odours from potential meals in the surrounding area.

here is an image of their simple eyes:

The last image is of a house centipede, whose eyes are much more developed that their larger more primitive ancestors. These Chilopods hunt more by vision, than by smell, making the eyes more important, and thereby more adapted.

Hope this helps!

No,they don't.If you look closely in a book you will see that they have a couple of antennas in front. With those antennas the centipede touches and feels what kind of soil is it on.Yes,this means that it's blind, but that's not a reason for a centipede to not feel, now is it?

Although even I see them as grose beings, they are really beautiful in their oun nature and are a blessing to the world.

I hope that this helps you with your question.

yes, they have compound eyes. Typical centipedes have a clump of simple eyes on each side of the head

Compound eyes occur in one family, and simple eyes or none at all in many.
