Hey Chris! Do you fish? Try it! Start a hobby. Happiness is found in yourself, not in what you've missed.

First be proud of your age, but don't let it hold you back. In other words: Forget about how old you are.

Now take these steps.

1. Start life over again. In other words forget about who you are, and your preconcieved notions of the world and start living again.

2. This will cause you to really get to know your true self and not the person you have been hiding behind for the past 41 years.

3. Build confidence in your newly found person. It's easier then it sounds; you'll see. You'll be so excited about this "new" you that you'll have to show it off.

4. live (plain and simple) Live life to it's absolute fullest;

I hope this helps

Here are some general questions. What does your age have to do with your happiness question? And what do you refer to when you say "a whole new world"? When you find the thing that you are missing, what will be different about you and your world? Are you currently having an affair or re-entered the dating world after an unsuccessful marriage?

Happiness isn't the goal because being happy comes and goes.

Joy is what you want because that stays always.

Do some work on yourself....find out the good things about you and make them better.

Find out the bad things and work to get rid of them.

My grandmother used to say.....I'm the cake and everything and everybody else in life can be the icing.

But you have to be your own cake.
