Start checking out smaller cemeteries (especially rural ones). Around here, you can often get a plot for as low as $50 just by calling the contact number posted at the cemetery gates. Otherwise, a funeral home can often help you make contact with people selling cemetery space. Also check out churches with cemeteries attached to them. No joke, you can even buy burial plots and columbarium niches (for cremated remains) on eBay.
