Because they freaking want to. Douchebags who ask these kinds of crap questions are even worse than douchebags who display provocative images as their avatars.
It does piss me off, though.. those sorts of people make it difficult for others to distinguish between the honest and the dishonest on this site. I, for one, am honest, but most probably don't think so.
