Ya know gettin the WII er playstation 3 is about impossible right now. We were down with the Gamecube system and I wanna get WII eventually but for now it really sounds like this lil portable is pretty cool and fun so tell me somethin'!!?!??!?

do NOT update the firmware.
if you keep it at whatever it comes with, you can download emulators and ROMs onto the psp - if you update it, you can't do that

emulators are completely free and legal. emulators are programs that run just like video game systems
ROMs are illegal to own for more than 24 hours if you don't have the hard copy of the game in your possession at home. ROMs are, essentially, games. realistically, i don't see your average joe getting busted for owning roms. however, it _is_ unethical, since the company that made the game will be getting nothing for their product

if you your son is under 11 , then you got a problem. wait for the wii , its family-friendly and fun. but if youre willing to spend the 500$, then buy the ps3

well do some reserch befor you buy a game fo it because a lot of the games for it pretty much suck. but there a lot of good games to.
young child: not may games for them
teen: medal of honor: heros or loco roco(sorta childish)
